👉 Grok 3 was Launched 🤔
So what?
If you were too busy running your business to catch Elon’s Feb 19th livestream (skip to 19:15), no worries - here’s what actually matters: Grok 3 is here—and it’s a major upgrade from Grok 2.
👉 Not familiar with Grok? It’s xAI’s answer to ChatGPT—basically, X’s in-house AI model.
Grok 3 has some powerful features added in for and providing you with comprehensive answers.

What You Should Care About: Grok 3’s Key Features
Grok 3 comes with three big upgrades. Here’s what they do—and how they can help your business and teams.
1. DeepSearch – Smarter, Faster Research 🔍
What It Is:
Think of DeepSearch as Google with more awareness. It digs deeper, scanning the web and X (formerly Twitter) to give you more complete answers instead of just links. This is similar to OpenAI’s o1 ‘Deep Research’.
What You Can Do With It:
📊 Track industry trends & competitors – Ask it to give you some information about market shifts, or spot new opportunities. Maybe ask it for what your competition is doing.
🛡️ Protect your brand – Have it search and monitor mentions for your brand - You could catch PR risks early, and stay on top of what people are saying about you.
2. Think Mode - AI That Actually Thinks. 🤔
What It Is:
Instead of giving instant responses, Think Mode takes a step back and reasons through problems, showing its thought process as it works.
What You Can Do With It:
📈 Make better business decisions – Ask it to tackle a more complex problem for you and, such as a risk vs. reward, or a go-to-market strategy, and you can a get a structured response with the logical reasoning behind it for you to make a decision on.
3. Big Brain Mode – Power Mode for Data 🧠
What It Is:
Big Brain Mode unlocks extra computing power, helping Grok 3 tackle complex, data-heavy tasks with deeper analysis.
What You Can Do With It:
📉 Turn data into strategy – For those data geeks out there - you can throw in a large dataset and ask it to identify trends or patterns, without needing a full data science team.
The Technical Stuff:
How does Grok 3 stack up? It was tested on three key areas:
• Mathematical reasoning
• STEM and science knowledge
• Computer science expertise
It outperformed GPT-4o, DeepSeek-V3, and Claude 3.5 Sonnet—at least, according to XAI’s benchmarks.
➡️ Take that with a grain of salt, since every AI company claims they’re the best. 👀

Grok 3 Benchmarks
SuperGrok - For those of you who are or want to be at the forefront of Grok’s features - you can sign up for SuperGrok and get early access to advanced features as they are released. It’s going to cost you more though.
By the way - If you’re wondering what the meaning of Grok is: It means to fully and profoundly understand something. 🤔
API - The API access is not available just yet. It should be made available in a few weeks, allowing those technical folks to start using the model for various projects.
Should You Spend Time & Money On It:
To use Grok 3 - you need to be an X premium+ subscriber for $40/Month.
For the majority of my audience for personal use - No. You probably won’t maximize the use of it.
For those of you who already have an X premium+ subscription - Yes. It’s basically free to access.
If you are already paying for ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro and want a change / upgrade - Yes.
If you are a ChatGPT Premium subscriber and want access to the same features for about $160 less - Yes.
If you want to provide your team or staff with access to some powerful research and analysis tools on par with ChatGPT Premium - Yes.
Final Thoughts:
I’m not using Grok 3 or switching. At least not yet (I’m also not an X Premium or + user).
I’ve seen some interesting uses that can be more use for technical or engineering folk; but for most us, ChatGPT Plus, or Claude Pro, is just fine for your day-to-day and helping your with business related queries, at half the price!

Thanks for reading!
P.S. A ‘context window’ is how AI models process and recall information. Too small, and they miss the big picture. Too big, and they start rambling like a bad TED Talk. 😅 Here, we fine-tune yours—giving you just what you need to know, minus the noise. 🎯
